Hi everyone,

I was a victim of a data protection breach by a gaming business that failed to comply with GDPR Act 2018. I filed a complaint with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), and they confirmed the violation. Now, I’m in the process of taking legal action against them.

This isn’t just about me — these companies hold critical personal and financial data from thousands of players. If they don’t follow regulations, it puts everyone at risk. The consequences go beyond financial loss, affecting mental health as well.

I’m still struggling with the impact of this, and I don’t want others to go through the same. Has anyone else experienced similar issues with a gaming site? Let’s discuss how we can hold them accountable.
 
Damn, that sucks! I can’t believe they just ignore the GDPR like that. Have you thought about what kind of compensation you’re aiming for? It’s about time these companies get hit where it hurts

Totally agree! It's wild how some gaming companies just treat data like it's nothing. But honestly, how do you even prove the damages? I mean, it’s hard to quantify mental distress or whatever

well, you can document everything. Keep records of any anxiety, stress, or issues you've faced since the breach. It all adds up, and lawyers usually know how to present it. I think the gaming industry definitely needs a wake-up call

I'm in! I got hacked last year, and they didn't even inform me. I was left to deal with the fallout myself. It’s so frustrating. We need to unite and make them pay! What’s the next step for you, OP?
