Why Didn’t I Cash Out?

I usually play responsibly — deposit $100 after payday, and if I lose, I wait until my next salary. But in November, I got lucky. A $120 deposit turned into $3.2K, and I kept playing for days, winning and losing but always climbing back up. Three times, I told myself, “If I hit $3K again, I’m cashing out.” But I didn’t. This morning, I lost it all — went from $3K to $500, then kept depositing until that was gone too. I don’t know what happened — I knew the risks, knew I should have stopped, but I kept chasing. Now I feel like an idiot for not walking away with a huge profit.
How do you stop yourself from falling into the “just one more win” trap?

It's so easy to get caught up in that rush. I set a hard limit for myself. Once I hit it, I’m done. No exceptions!

Same! I literally write down my cash-out number on my phone. Can’t ignore it if it’s staring at me, ya know?

Writing it down? That's kinda lame. Just use discipline! If you know the risks, act like it!
