Why online casino reviews are getting harder to trust

While hunting for a decent online casino, I ended up on one of the biggest casino reviews sites - LCB. Looked solid at first glance. They call themselves an independent directory, forum, bonus tracker - the whole package. Seemed like a good place to start, so I checked out their Liberty Slots Casino review. The write-up said it was safe to deposit, fully licensed under Curacao, and backed by a CFR (Certified Fair Gambling) seal. Sounded legit. They even had a registration link with free spins. I was ready to go.

Before depositing, I decided to double-check Liberty Slots’ homepage. They say all games are audited monthly. Cool, right? Except, when I opened the audit reports from the CFR link, only table games, video poker, blackjack, and keno were listed. No slots. Nothing. Not a single audit line for 75% of the casino’s content. They literally say “all games” and then don’t include the damn slots.

That made me suspicious. So I hit up live chat and asked about their license. The rep said they couldn’t give me that info and then straight up disconnected. No follow-up. No answers. Just silence. And according to Curacao’s own rules, the license info is supposed to be public and visible on the site.

So now I’m sitting here wondering how a top-ranked casino reviews site can put their name behind this. Are they just repeating what the casino tells them without checking anything? Because from what I saw, Liberty Slots is misleading players and possibly not even licensed at all. And LCB is promoting it like it’s safe and certified.

This whole thing just made me lose a lot of faith in online casino reviews in general. If the “trusted” sites are handing out glowing endorsements to shady operators, what’s left? How are players supposed to know who to trust if even the watchdogs are asleep at the wheel or cashing in on referral links?

Check it out yourself if you want. I didn’t screenshot it all but it’s there. Look at Liberty’s CFR page, look at the review on LCB. Something doesn’t add up, and it’s players like us who get burned for trusting what we read
