Mr Q Suspended My Account After a Win

Alright, so here’s the deal…

Signed up to Mr Q a couple days back ‘cause I was looking for casinos with better RTP than the ones I usually play at. Dropped £30 via instant bank transfer just to test the waters, played some slots, and boom—ended up winning around £350. Cashed out £300, left £50 to keep playing. Felt like a solid start… until my account got mysteriously suspended just a few hours later.

Then comes the email—they’re asking for a PDF of my bank statement showing the deposits and withdrawals from Mr Q. Never had any casino ask for that before, and honestly, I’m not comfortable handing over my full bank details. Like, I get verification, but why do they need to see every single thing I spend my money on?

So I did what I thought was reasonable—filtered my statement so it only showed the transactions they asked for, along with my name and account details. And surprise, surprise, not good enough. Now they want the WHOLE thing.

At this point, I’m done. I won’t be sending my full bank statement to some random email. Sucks, ‘cause I was actually enjoying the site, but if this is how they operate, I’m out.

Now, my question is—what happens to the £50 still sitting in my account?

Dude, classic bait-and-switch move. They’re cool with taking your money, but the moment you win something decent — boom, account freeze and paperwork circus. Asking for a full bank statement is shady as hell. I’d file a complaint with the UKGC or at least tag them on Twitter. Sometimes public heat gets faster results than emails sent into the void

Had a similar thing happen, just on PlayOJO. Deposited £25, ran it up to around £280, withdrew £200, left £80 on the account. Next day — account blocked. They asked for a 3-month bank statement with every incoming/outgoing transaction “to verify affordability.” Like wtf? Over a £25 deposit? That’s not KYC, that’s straight-up privacy invasion. I didn’t bother sending anything — they can keep the £80, not worth the stress. Honestly, sounds like Mr Q might pull the same crap. Without full statements, good luck seeing that money again
