Shady Tactics at Betsson Casino

I’ll be filing a PAB soon, but I feel like it’s important to warn the community about what’s going on with this casino. Over the past few months, they’ve pulled some seriously shady moves, and players need to be aware.

Every time I try to cash out on a Thursday or Friday, they cancel the withdrawal and return the money to my account, clearly hoping I’ll play it back over the weekend. After doing this five times in a row, I finally called them out and threatened a gaming commission complaint. Suddenly, the issue magically disappeared, and my withdrawals went through without a problem.

Another issue is deposits just vanishing. Twice now, I’ve deposited, seen the "success" message, but the funds never appeared in my account. When I contacted support, they denied seeing any transaction, even after I provided my banking proof. Since I’m in Canada and they only process in USD, they pulled a ridiculous excuse about needing "proof of USD" despite knowing my local currency.

It’s been almost two weeks of fighting over $80, which is insane considering how much I’ve deposited over time. They’re just making up excuses and refusing to credit the money. I even tried reaching out to their rep, but turns out he left the company, and the "new rep" doesn’t seem to exist.

I won’t be commenting further since I’m filing a PAB, but I wanted to warn everyone that this group is not acting honestly. If you play here, be very careful

Damn, that Thursday/Friday thing sounds way too specific to be a coincidence. I’ve actually had something similar happen — requested a cashout on a Friday afternoon, and boom, it was reversed by Saturday morning “due to verification.” Funny how verification only becomes urgent on weekends, huh? They’re definitely trying to get players to redeposit. Sketchy move for a brand that acts like it’s above the shady Curacao-level games

Exactly, It’s psychological. They know weekends = tilt, so they keep funds “in play.” It’s not new, but it’s dirty coming from a company that claims to be reputable. If that story checks out, this is straight-up manipulation masked as “processing policy.”

Yeah, you both nailed it. They dress it up with “compliance language,” but the pattern is too consistent. It's clearly designed to stall payouts during peak player hours. I wouldn’t even be posting this if it was a one-off — but five times? And then the funds vanish too...

Damn, that’s shady as hell. Canceling withdrawals on weekends just to bait you into spinning it back? Classic scummy move. And the “proof of USD” excuse? Straight-up nonsense. Appreciate the heads up — I’ll steer clear. Good luck with the PAB, hope they get what’s coming
