Got a really weird situation and just wanted to see if anyone else has had something similar or if you have any advice. So, a couple of days ago, I logged into my Foxy Bingo account and noticed my balance was nearly gone – and I hadn’t even played! I checked the game history and saw that it said I’d done 12 x $1 spins on a slot game at 6:40 AM on Monday. Now, there’s no way I was awake at that time. I was actually up later than usual on Monday with a migraine, so I definitely wasn’t half-asleep and accidentally playing or thinking I was on a tournament or something. I remembered being on it the night before, so I checked my Google activity to see if maybe I’d fallen asleep with it open or if my child had somehow played. But no – I hadn’t visited the site since the early hours, and I had only been on a bingo room, then I closed the app and didn’t even look at my phone again until 8:45. Naturally, I messaged Foxy Bingo to explain that these spins were unauthorized and asked them to look into it. They kept telling me that the system wouldn’t allow the spins to happen without me pressing the button (which, of course, I didn’t). They said they’d pass it on to their operations team, and eventually, I got an email saying they’d suspended my account for “security reasons” and that the activity on my account was “consistent” (which is a load of rubbish, I never play at that time, and definitely don’t do $1 spins). They then said the only way I could reopen my account is to essentially admit full responsibility and claim I made the spins myself, which I obviously didn’t. It’s only $11 that’s gone, plus a bit left in my balance, but it’s the principle of the thing. I’m not about to falsely admit to something I didn’t do, but I also don’t want to lose my account or the funds
